Every year just before New Years millions of us make New Years Resolutions. We resolve to make good changes in our lives, and we do this with all intentions of making the changes. The problem is how many of us actually commit to and accomplish our New Years resolution?

I for one quit making them because I know that I won't keep them. Am I saying we shouldn't make them? Not at all. I am saying if we make them we should do our best to keep them.

Another question we should ask ourselves is, why not desire to make changes in ourselves for the better every day and not just on New years? If you say, but the bible says we can't. The bible says we are to Try and let GOD do the rest. I know that without GOD, there are no changes worth mentioning. This should not stop us from seeking wisdom from GOD through HIS word and prayer.

We also must remind ourselves and others that every moment that passes, every day, week month and year that passes, brings us that much closer to our LORD'S return. We should seek the LORD JESUS while HE can still be found. JESUS is returning for us HIS children, and that is about to occur at a moments notice. So whether JESUS comes 5 minutes from now or 5 years from now, we all need to be ready.

The coming of a New Year should remind us of this fact. Are we prepared for HIS return? Are we prepared for what ever happens in the New Year? I pray all of us are. Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST it is long over due to get on our knees before the LORD JESUS CHRIST and pray. I am ready, Are you?
