America’s Greatest Tragedy: Killing Babies by Their Own Mothers Women Ending the Lives of Babies in the Name of Convenience.
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, he wrote in the SAND: Today my best friend slapped me in the face.
Setting sail on the sea of life was I
The Seas were calm my hopes were high
All was well with the crews on board
All seemed good as we served the Lord.
Edith Burns was a wonderful Christian who lived in San Antonio, Texas. She was the patient of doctor by the name of Will Phillips. Dr. Phillips was a gentle doctor who saw patients as people.
Sometimes we wonder, “What did I do to deserve this?” or “Why did God have to do this to me?” Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she’s failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
In my yard are quarter-circles of grass growing taller than the rest. There ’s also a 12-foot circle with no grass. What explains these phenomena? Alien laser blasts? A Martian landing site? No. The arcs are where we threw lawn fertilizer, and the circle is where the above-ground pool stood. Whether growth is fast, slow, or non-existent, the difference is easy to discern.
Am I dreaming? The sign outside the skyscraper reads: “Spiritual Realm.” I hurry straight to the elevator. “Up, please,” I tell the operator.
The passenger had to be carried onto the plane and carefully strapped into a first-class seat. She said nothing. As the airliner achieved cruising altitude, perhaps the flight attendants came around. “Would you like a beverage?” one may have asked. No reply. “What about a meal?” The question was ignored. Undoubtedly, the passenger said nothing. She didn’t move, didn’t look out the window, didn’t make a sound. In fact, she didn’t even breathe.
Life is growth. For many people life is like a merry go round. They feel life is going to work, paying bills, spend time with family that is it. You must always ask this question. Is this all I want in my life? Are you utilizing your God given potential? You must make a choice of how you want to live your life.
Tony was a professinoal salt-water fisherman. He explained how he cruised out to sea each morning, coming back each evening with his catch.
In our fast paced society we often want everything done quickly or your boss wants it done yesterday. In your spiritual life are you a Microwave or Crock Pot? I think often we want God to answer our prayers in Microwave fashion. I prayed a specific request today and I want it answered today. If our prayers are not answered quickly, we often wonder, “What is God doing?” We also decide to go it on our own and not wait for God’s direction. Often it is difficult to wait on God’s timing.
As we go through life we all have to deal with feelings of anger, resentment or bitterness when people hurt us. Can you think of someone who has hurt you so badly that you are finding it really hard to let go of the pain or grudge?
Can two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? - Amos 3:3
I’m weary of saying No to my children. Not just the everyday No’s. Don’t hit your brother and No, you cannot have 5 pieces of candy. I am weary of the No I am continually saying to our culture. The world is bound and determined to take away my children’s innocence. They want my children to grow up way too fast.
I still remember the scene vividly. I was getting out of my car at the baby-sitter’s house and a little boy comes running out the door. The little boys begins to yell - “Renee’s Mommy is here!”
Ever wonder what happened to the family dinner hour? Or for that matter the family dinner half hour? Monday is Soccer Practice, Tuesday is Piano lesson, Wednesday is Church Activities, Thursday is a Soccer Game, Friday a birthday party to attend. A number of events will fill up the weekend. Do you feel like a professional scheduler and taxi driver? Are you finding yourself increasingly irritable as you go from one activity to the next? Maybe you and your children are overscheduled.
Each time our children graduate from one stage to another (i.e. crawling - walking, preschool - school, high school - graduation) we as parents are excited and a little sad as well. We want our children to grow up, but we reminisce about the “good old” days. I think those mixed feelings are normal for all of us. My question for you is - “Are your children growing up too fast emotionally and socially?” We can’t stop their physical growth, but we can effect their emotional and social growth.
As Christian’s we are often very independent. We try to do everything and often feel we do everything. Are there times when you are frustrated, tired, irritable, and have no energy?
What does the story of your life say about you? Does it speak of heroic journeys into new and exciting lands of achievement and growth? Or is it an angry and repetitive diatribe against the vagaries of a wantonly malicious universe? Does it sing with finely crafted phrasing and uplifting themes? Or is it plodding, dreary and full of errors, omissions and clichés?
For the past several years I have struggled with getting (and staying) fit. Ok I admit it, the struggle has been longer than just a few years. As a kid, instead of playing nicely with the girls, I fought with the neighborhood boys. I attempted to join their fun and received new scars weekly in bloody games of soccer.
Uh, oh. I’m in trouble now. I found God. Now what do I do with Him?
My favorite scripture is Roman’s 8:28. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
In this article, I would like deal with one specific aspect of attitude, that is, “enthusiasm.” To have an enthusiastic attitude about we do is essential.
The bible tells a story about four men who sat at the entrance of the city’s gate dying with leprosy, an incurable disease which causes terribly visible swelling and sores on the skin, only then to eat inward to the bones.
One of my teachers had each one of us bring a clear plastic bag and a sack of potatoes. For every person we’d refuse to forgive in our life, we were told to choose a potato, write on it the name and date, and put it in the plastic bag. Some of our bags, as you can imagine, were quite heavy.
I have called this article from the heart because I am going to unload some things that is weighing on my heart. In this world there are many people that label themselves as “Christian” and are headed straight to hell.
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
Do you realize that what we believe about ourselves, affects us so much more than what is actually true about ourselves? Let me give you an example of what I mean.
Friend, Please don’t mourn for me
I’m still here tho you don’t see
I’m right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay
“Joy to the world the Lord is come.” This is a song sang every Christmas Season. It celebrates the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We sing Christmas Carols and deliver cookies and gifts to the unfortunate. So many things that believers used to do to make the lives of those unfortunate better. We give our old broken toys to places that fix them and give them to children who other wise would not have any.We visit those who cannot leave their home and sing Christmas carols to them. What a wonderful season this used to be.
I am going to discuss in this article about Ten Christian Principles of Prosperity. The reference is the Word of God, So the message is correct.
I am writing about this subject due to deep concern about our country we live in. This November is once again time for Americans to come to the polls and vote for our next President of the United States.
We run into people we love every day in life. We love God, our children, our spouses, our friends, our pets. Sometimes we love someone so much, we think it is impossible to love anymore than this. But do we love someone enough that we would die for them?
Standing up for Christ…..What does this mean to you? It probably means different things to different people.
One might have thought it could have been worse. Surely there was something in Sam’s past that had been harder than today. But, no, there wasn’t anything worse. And though Sam searched his fevered mind for a remembrance of a sadder day, he found nothing. No thoughts of a time worse could be found.
Hats off to our military and their families.
How many times have you heard someone complain about the way his or her life is going? How many times have you heard the same complainers thank God for what He’s given them and done for them?
When you feel unloved and unwanted,
When you think that no one cares
Know in your heart, Friend
God does.
It’s a holiday that comes just once a year. Often what comes to mind is turkey and all of the delicious food that goes with it, the scrumptious deserts, and the feeling afterwards of having eaten too much and wishing we hadn’t. Somewhere in the day, we might manage to remember the things we’re thankful for.
Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
A year ago today, a cowardly evil beyond imagination, act was committed against the United States of America. Evil men plotted and brought about the murder of over 3,000 men woman and children on this fateful day.
So you’ve been done wrong, talked ugly about, gossiped about, ran down, hurt, trashed, etc. Not once, but many times, and by the same person. What do you do?
I have met some wonderful people in my life and not so wonderful people. I have been in times of deep dark despair. It was in one of these times in deep dark despair and loneliness that I fell prey to a vicious predator I call the whore.
What I am about to write about may anger some of you at me. But I write from my heart. What I am about to say not everyone will agree. Again it comes from my heart. No one has to agree with me, nor do I have to agree with anyone.
I want to discuss a topic that is weighing heavy on my heart. Now I won’t be putting in Scripture, I will be speaking from the Heart.
GOD DID NOT CREATE ADAM AND STEVE, but He created ADAM AND EVE. This thought is focused on same sex marriages, an abomination straight from the pits of hell itself. Our wonderful and blessed nation is in grave danger as I sit here and type this out. We are about to lose the blessings of God and become a cursed nation.
Every year just before New Years millions of us make New Years Resolutions. We resolve to make good changes in our lives, and we do this with all intentions of making the changes. The problem is how many of us actually commit to and accomplish our New Years resolution?
It seems that every year when Christmas comes along, emotions that have been trapped inside of us seem to come boiling out. Some emotions that are good and some that are bad.

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Can we say HOT? Yes summer is just around the corner and with it comes the looking forward to fun in the sun.
Life style or a sin?
1 Corinthians. 6:9 NIV Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL offenders.
Proverbs 31:28a Her children arise up, and call her blessed. When was the last time we said “THANK YOU MOM”?. I wonder how many of us take the time to pick up the phone and call our mom’s for other than give me this or what do I do about that?
Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art thatjudgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

“If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime.” This was a sentence in the theme song of an old TV show called “Baretta”. This is so true of all of our lives. Everything we do has a cost. Now we launch into the subject I wish to address my readers about.
“Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.” What an absurd and out right lie that saying is.
What I am going to write about is a very touchy subject. I write this not to step on peoples toes, but in the hopes to wake those up that are deep in this insidious trap that many have fallen into.
For the love of money is the root of all evil; which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10
“O what tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” I am not sure where this statement comes from but it sure holds true in one form or another in our lives.
To be a Christian, so many people feel they have to be perfect, or at least to maintain the image of perfection to the outside world. While it is true that our deeds are our greatest witness, there is no need for us to be perfect.
It is quite obvious that we are in the end times that the prophets and yes even JESUS foretold about.
How do we know that God has called us to His service? That’s a good question. Some may believe that being called to God’s service is to be called to preach His Word before a congregation of people in a church.
The time nears when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. With the holiday time upon us, many of us are rushing out trying to figure out what to buy our family and friends again this year.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. (Romans 11:1)
